  • 10 October 2026
    • 20:15 – 22:30

A musical journey through the most beautiful Dutch and French chansons

After more than 90 performances in which Sjors van der Panne stepped into the shoes of Jacques Brel, he returns to the theaters with his musicians in 2026 with the tour * Van Boeijen tot Brel*. In his characteristic style — intense, sincere, and with a voice that gets under your skin — he pays tribute to the great chansonniers of the Low Countries and beyond. From the start of his breakthrough in 2014, when he blew away the whole of the Netherlands with his rendition of the Frank Boeijen classic ‘Zeg me dat het niet zo is’, to the beautiful chansons of Jacques Brel.

With his warm charisma and versatile repertoire, Sjors van der Panne is an artist who touches you deeply, which is perfectly suited to a tour like *Van Boeijen tot Brel* . With his talent to truly experience and convey a song, he promises an intense musical journey full of emotion and quality in this performance. Sjors performs the finest Dutch and French songs, with a repertoire that, alongside Boeijen and Brel, consists of chansons by Ramses Shaffy, Liesbeth List, Wim Sonneveld, and Stef Bos, among others. But also his own work and translations from French, of beautiful gems by Françoise Hardy, Julien Clerc, and ZAZ, among others.

Let yourself be swept away into an evening full of emotion, recognition, and musicality of the highest level. From Boeijen to Brel is not a nostalgic look back, but a lively tribute to the power of the Dutch and French-language song. Songs that touch upon longing, loss, love, and life itself. Classics are given new life and forgotten gems are rediscovered.

Sjors van der Panne has been an artist through and through for more than 20 years. His breakthrough came 12 years ago on The Voice of Holland , where he finished second. He is one of the best chansonniers in the Netherlands, has undertaken several successful solo theatre tours as well as with close friends such as Cor Bakker and Tommie Christiaan. He has performed at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam no fewer than 16 times. He recorded duets with Duncan Laurence, Monique Klemann, and Edsilia Rombley. In 2025, Sjors wrote the song *Altijd Dichtbij * for the Kristal-awarded documentary *Anak Indië*.
