Come to De Langhaarden on Thursday, October 22: a mix of absurd humor, moving music, historical facts, and a touch of magic.

In the Hall of Knights, you experience the story of the Merovingians, who ruled in France and the Low Countries after the Romans. Perhaps they even came face to face with the Frisian king Radboud on the border. The horse Avanti takes you back to the early Middle Ages, a time of ancient gods, trade, and war. He tells the story of Brunhilde and Fredegonde: two powerful women in a man’s world and their years-long struggle.

Please note: The performance starts at 20:00, doors open at 19:30. Admission includes one pre-show drink.

Exhibition ‘Radboud, between sword and soul’

This performance is one of the activities surrounding the new exhibition ‘Radboud, Between Sword and Soul’, in which you journey to the Frisia of the early Middle Ages. The accompanying cultural program is made possible in part thanks to a financial contribution from Rabobank West-Friesland.
