The theme “celebrate difference” forms the core of Golden Night 2026. It will be an evening full of music, theatre, stories, and unexpected encounters, in which differences are not glossed over, but are instead allowed to be visible and palpable. Intimate stages will emerge for one evening at special locations within the municipality of Medemblik. From Meelmolen de Herder to Radboud Castle, from the Groene Kerkje to the Dutch Steam Engine Museum, and from Het Witte Kerkje to Boergondisch, the War Museum, and Calidus: everywhere, local creators, musicians, singers, poets, and performers are given the space to add their own unique touch to the evening.
