Stadswandeling ‘Historisch Medemblik’
The Archaeological Association Medenblick organizes city walks through the oldest city in West Friesland. Interested parties are shown around Medemblik under the guidance of a guide.
During the city walk you will be told about the history of Medemblik. Topics discussed include the city rights, which Medemblik was assigned in 1289 by Floris the Fifth, and the story surrounding Radboud Castle. The ports with their centuries-old trading history and the churches are also not forgotten during the walk.
Participation in a walk, which lasts about an hour and a half, is in principle only open to a group of 5 to 15 people.
