Interactive detective program ‘Operation Freedom’

Age category: Suitable for everyone!

Embark on an adventure and help a downed pilot escape safely! This detective program is suitable for all visitors, but in terms of difficulty, it is primarily aimed at families with children.

During the journey, you will meet various characters who tell you more about their situation and give you assignments. Together, you collect important materials to arrange a fake passport for the pilot. If you manage to successfully complete all the assignments, you will receive an official detective diploma and a small reward.

A new group starts the detective program every 10 minutes. Upon arrival, you will receive further instructions and starting materials at the ticket counter.

Looking around the museum

Due to the detective program, the Experience Tours will not take place today. Of course, you are still very welcome to visit the museum on your own and experience the special atmosphere of this day.

Reenactment and workshops

In support of ‘Operation Freedom’, various reenactors are roaming the museum, bringing the past to life. Volunteers also wear historical clothing to make the experience complete.

In addition, workshops are organized on an ongoing basis, including a creative activity centered on the liberation.
