Restaurant Oost is located on the beautiful Oosterhaven of Medemblik, in the monumental Boutique Hotel Medemblik.

An atmospheric place where inspiration comes from the Japanese Izakaya: an informal bistro where conviviality, toasting and sharing worldly flavors are central.

At Oost, you’ll discover colorful dishes from various cuisines around the world—from Japan to South America—each with a refined twist from our chef. Take a seat for a drink, a light bite, or a table full of delicious dishes to share. Our sushi is prepared à la minute by Myo, who you can watch in action from the chef’s table.
