Are you coming to the Owl Workshop during the autumn break? Meet the owls in real life in the Knight’s Hall of Radboud Castle. Resident falconer Birdlive will tell you everything you want to know about these special birds of prey.

The Owl Workshop will be held on Tuesday, October 13 and Thursday, October 15. The number of places is limited, so book your tickets quickly!

The cost of the Owl Workshop is €8.50 per person. The Museumkaart and Vriendenloterij VIP Card are not valid for this activity. Would you also like to visit the museum itself? You can do so after the Owl Workshop by purchasing a separate museum ticket. The Museumkaart and Vriendenloterij VIP Card are, of course, valid for the museum visit. The museum is closed during the Owl Workshop.

Please note! The workshop itself starts at 11:00 AM. To ensure peace and quiet for the birds, the door to the Knight’s Hall will close NO LATER THAN 10:55 AM . Once the door is closed, you will not be able to enter. So please arrive on time.

About the falconer

In the Middle Ages, every self-respecting castle had a falconer. Only a free man was allowed to keep birds of prey, so it was also a status symbol. Resident falconer Birdlive regularly gives workshops on various birds of prey during school holidays, both indoors and outdoors.
