Fling in het Groene Kerkje

  • 19 December 2025
    • 20:00 – 22:00

On Friday evening, December 19th, the trio “Fling” will perform Irish music here. Fling uniquely brings traditional Irish music to life, with a diverse repertoire that includes both timeless classics and original compositions. In an atmosphere reminiscent of magical cairns, peat fires, and gray mountains, they keep the pure tradition of sharing and passing on music alive. Let yourself be swept away by the melancholic sounds of the Uilleann pipes, passionate vocals, the rugged Donegal fiddle, the clear-sounding strings, and the enchanting wooden flute. Lose yourself in ballads and tales of adventurers, robbers, damsels, drowned books, and enchanted swans.

Annemarie de Bie, internationally acclaimed as a leading singer, also plays the Irish wooden flute, bodhrán and guitar.

Evertjan ‘t Hart, founder and arranger of Fling, shapes the band’s unique sound with his uilleann pipes, whistles, and bouzouki. He is internationally recognized as a builder of uilleann pipes and has appeared on programs such as “Vrije Geluiden” and “Podium Witteman.”

Anna Marije van der Leest adds extra depth with a powerful fiddle part to the dance tunes and her lyrical support for the ballads.
