Oorlogsmuseum Medemblik
At the Medemblik War Museum you can visit two exhibitions about the Second World War:
- ‘Road to Freedom’ about the military side.
- ‘Choices in Almersdorp’ about the civil side.
Discover the WWII stories in an interactive way
You can visit our museum the traditional way, exploring freely and reading the stories, but if you really want to immerse yourself in the storyline as the museum team has designed it, we definitely recommend booking one of the two Experience Tours based on the Escape Room concept.
Discover (local) World War II stories interactively. Fun and educational for all ages! An Experience Tour lasts 2 hours, and you choose a time slot: 10:00 AM, 12:30 PM, or 3:00 PM.
The rest of the day (before/after the Experience Tour) you are free to look around the entire museum.
The Medemblik War Museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and Sundays from 12:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
