Under Steam during Autumn Break and Science Weekend
Medemblik – Looking for a fun outing during the fall break? Then visit the Steam Engine Museum in Medemblik. From Saturday, October 11th, to Sunday, October 26th, the boiler fire will be stoked daily (except Mondays), and you can see the robust machinery in action. It’s the perfect place to discover the power of water and fire.
Interactive museum, fun for young and old
Miniature steam engines are available for you to generate steam and discover the power of steam. If you lend a hand to the stoker, you’ll receive a real stoking certificate as a reward. If the blacksmith is present in the pumping station’s old forge, you can also earn a blacksmithing certificate.
