By car

By public transportation

There is a station in Medemblik town. But it belongs to the historic steam streetcar and is meant to be a tourist attraction. If you want to get to Medemblik by public transportation, take bus 239 from Hoorn station. This also goes through Opperdoes. Neighborhood bus 415 runs from Medemblik through Onderdijk, Wervershoof, Hauwert, Westwoud, Ooster- and Westerblokker and has Hoorn station as its terminus.
