Friday, December 14, will see a new edition of the now indispensable ‘Dickens Day’ in Medemblik. Dickens Day has become a unique Christmas event in West Friesland. During the market, about 150 extras, musicians and choir members walk around in Dickens style.
Scrooge in Medemblik
Visitors will encounter familiar characters from Charles Dickens’ stories, including the grumpy Scrooge, Oliver Twist and Fagin’s rascals.
Atmospheric Christmas market
The range of market stalls is very diverse at the Christmas market. From attractive Christmas decorations to artisanal regional products, but also clothing and antiques.
