Come to Radboud Castle on Saturday, June 20, for a special look behind the scenes of a restoration! Jazzy de Groot, restorer of the 17th-century painting of the Frisian King Radboud, will be working in the Knight’s Hall that day. A unique opportunity to see restoration work up close! Normally, this takes place behind closed doors.
You will get answers to questions such as ‘How do you restore a centuries-old painting? What do you encounter during a restoration? What stories lie hidden behind the canvas?’
The live restoration is included with the museum visit.
