An evening full of nostalgia, featuring the most legendary concert ever held in the Netherlands: The Beatles at Blokker. How could it be that the world’s most famous band—at the height of Beatlemania—came to a West Frisian horticultural village?
NH journalists Tom Jurriaans and Michiel Baas, along with Beatles expert Gert Elzinga, produced the documentary “The Beatles and the Miracle of Blokker,” which aired on Omroep MAX. They are now touring the Netherlands with a program focusing on the Fab Four’s performances at Blokker. The documentary will be shown, along with many wonderful anecdotes and, of course, a wealth of Beatles classics performed by the band Bolistic Smoke.
