This summer, residents of Westfriesland have the unique opportunity to capture their own cow on canvas under the guidance of Ruud Spil, the Cow Painter of the Netherlands . Inspiring workshops are being organized at various dairy farms in the region, where creativity, farm life, and conviviality come together.

The workshops take place in the meadow in good weather. In less favorable weather conditions, they move to the barn. This allows participants to experience not only a creative afternoon but also the unique atmosphere of the West Frisian countryside.

No painting experience is necessary. Ruud Spil guides participants step by step in creating their own artwork. The joy of painting and the experience on the farm are central.

The workshops are held at the following locations:

July 18 – Van Zanten Family, Rikkert 10, Andijk
July 22 – Family Klaver, Driesredeweg 51A, De Weere
August 8 – De Sain Family, Dorpsweg 151, Schellinkhout
August 12 – Kranenburg Dairy, Lutkedijk 44, 1643 NR Spierdijk
August 29 – Klaver Family, Dorpsstraat 9, Hensbroek

All materials are provided. Participants go home with a self-made painting and a special experience at a West Frisian agricultural farm.
