Come to the Medieval Weekend on 18 and 19 January and see how things were in times gone by. The Hanze Company will be staying at Radboud Castle this weekend and will be working on old crafts such as embroidery, bookbinding and rope making. The craftsmen will be happy to tell you about their work!
Meet the belt weaver, the chainmail maker and the woodcarver. A knight tells about his armour and other equipment. Learn about medieval weapons and experience how a yardstick knife feels in your hand, listen to the stories of the archer and who knows, you might run into a plague doctor, a sentry or a vagabond.
The Medieval Weekend is included in the museum visit. If you want to be sure that you can enter at the time you want, we recommend that you book your tickets online in advance.
