Gelaarsde kat – De Musical

In a village far away from here is the bakery De Molenwiek. When mother Wiek goes to her sister one day, her children are given the task of babysitting. Sister Marie at the mill, sister Karen at the bakery and Pim is allowed to look after the cat. Pim is always bullied by his sisters. He has a big wish: to go to the palace to meet the princess. The princess’s birthday is coming up soon – and every prince is invited to come along. But Pim is not a prince after all? Or is he? The cat is no ordinary cat: The cat can talk, do magic and help Pim to go to the palace. With a new outfit and a delicious cake, Pim goes to the party and meets Princess Isabel. But where has the cat suddenly gone?…  

Puss in Boots is the fourth family show produced by DLZ. After the huge success of The Little Mermaid, Rapunzel and Aladdin, this autumn break it is time for Puss in Boots. DLZ-Theaterproducties performs musicals for primary schools and families who are less well off in West Friesland. They do this entirely voluntarily. Every Thursday evening they rehearse in Youth Centre Inventas to ultimately create a comical, beautiful, but above all super cool children’s musical. They do this with 23 young people who each have a passion for musicals. DLZ does everything itself: from decor to make-up, from music to costumes.

Put on your most beautiful princess dress, pirate outfit or superhero costume and come to the theater.
