Erwin Nyhoff met The Prodigal Son

  • 20 February 2026
    • 20:30 – 22:30

Erwin Nyhoff became known as the singer, guitarist and songwriter of The Prodigal Sons and scored hits with You still think, Cool it and Nights in white satin.

Nyhoff performed at prestigious festivals like Pinkpop, Oerol, and Zwarte Cross, and toured the United States. He opened for legendary acts like Pearl Jam and Alanis Morissette. He impressed Tony Joe White (writer of world-famous classics like Rainy Night in Georgia and Steamy Windows), Scotty Moore and DJ Fontana (guitarist and drummer for Elvis Presley in his prime), and Mick Taylor (guitarist for the Rolling Stones 1969-1974), with whom he composed and performed.

During the second edition of The Voice of Holland, the whole of the Netherlands got goosebumps during his blind audition, where he eventually reached the final.

The pure and authentic style of Erwin Nyhoff can now also be admired in the theatre.

The Prodigal Son takes you on a musical journey through the rich history of music. Bringin’ it home! With one voice, one guitar, and one harmonica, he plays his own songs alongside unique covers of songs by artists like Elvis, the Beatles, the Stones, and Bruce Springsteen.

Taste, smell, see, hear and feel his passion for music from this versatile talent!
