This year, the Rhetoric Chamber De Eendragt from Hauwert has once again chosen a play brimming with strange, comical, and also suspenseful situations. A piece the audience is sure to appreciate.
With 13 actors and many quick changes, the stage becomes exciting. Lighting and sound effects also contribute to this. Thanks to the new LED lighting on the stage at De Werf Community Center, made possible by contributions from the Rabobank and the Community Center board and administrators, several scenes will be even more exciting.
Under the direction of director Torsten Colijn, the actors have rehearsed the comedy “Who Did It Again?” by author Gerben Pijl. Besides several experienced actors, many, mainly young, debutants are participating.
We travel to Peru, where a Dutch couple, Dirk and Joke de Vries, have relocated to run a small family hotel. They are supported by a “lovely” bellhop who is doing an internship and two exceptional chambermaids.
Unfortunately, business isn’t going so well yet. They rely mainly on Dutch guests heading to the Mayan temples. This weekend is extra exciting, as celebrity guests and a few “special” ones are coming, but with those guests comes drama to the hotel as well…
There’s a fantastic raffle during the intermission of each performance, with great prizes.
The performances will take place in the theater of the community center ‘De Werf’ (Heemraad Witweg 2, Hauwert) on: – Saturday, March 14, 8 p.m.
– Sunday, March 15, 2:00 PM
– Saturday, March 21, 8 p.m.
– Sunday, March 22, 2 p.m.
The hall opens half an hour before the start of the performance.
Tickets cost €13.00 per person (under 12: €5.50). Donors pay €10.50.
