Bernd van den Bos – Freddie Mercury on Piano

With pianist Bernd van den Bos, we have a great admirer of Freddie Mercury in our midst. Last year, he released the album ‘Freddie’, on which he arranged beautiful songs by the British rock musician (and classical music lover as well). During his theatre production Freddie Mercury on Piano, he plays the songs solo at his grand piano.

During the show, the audience will have the opportunity to ask Bernd for improvisations on their favorite Queen/Mercury songs, and there will also be a guest appearance by a local artist.

For quite some time, Bernd has been touring almost continuously with well-known artists from the Dutch entertainment industry. He is the regular pianist for Brigitte Kaandorp and has performed on stage with Paul de Leeuw, Jenny Arean, Louis van Dijk, André van Duin, Simone Kleinsma, and even the Kunst Adelt Music Association from Hapert. He is also the pianist and bandleader on the TV program ‘Klassiekers met Kleinsma’ and you might know him from NPO Klassiek.
