A special musical Sunday afternoon awaits you on August 9 in the Bonifacius Church in Medemblik , where the historic Pieter Backer organ (1671) takes center stage. Vocalist Ronald Willemsen , active in music for over sixty years, presents a warm, varied program together with organist Gijs Raeven, in which voice and organ complement each other.

The grand organ reveals its full, colorful sound in monumental works, while the choir organ offers space for intimate songs. Thanks to the new video screen, the audience can follow the organist live: the playing on three keyboards, pedal, and registers becomes visible and enhances the experience.

From Handel to Bach, from spiritual songs to moving melodies – this concert offers a rich musical journey. Free admission, tip box available. Come and enjoy an inspiring afternoon full of music.
